Ties
The finest exclusive woven and printed silks are used for our bespoke ties. We carry an extensive collection including the Henry Poole Napoleonic reppe stripe, (blue, green, black, burgundy) and our special black/burgundy woven tie.
As part of our club service, exclusive silk ties can be produced in reppe stripe or emblem design. We can also produce ties for special events and as gifts.
These particular designs are produced on 350 end silk (350 end refers to 350 strands of silk per square inch) which gives the cloth/ties a very luxurious handle. The designs are woven on coloured warps to give an iridescent look to them.
All the ties are constructed from a single piece of pure wool lining therefore eliminating the 'lump' in the neckband that you usually find in inferior tie, which use a two a two piece lining. After a days wear,hang the tie up and any creases that have formed from tying the tie,tend to fall out because the cloth and the lining are made from natural fibres.The ties and the linings are cut on the true bias,so they do not twist.
Self loops(the loop on the reverse of the tie) is made from the same cloth as the tie, silk tipping as opposed to acetate and the ties are all hand made in England by our skilled hand slippers.
