The company still provides classic, elegant, well cut bespoke garments, and the work is carried out on their premises at 15 Savile Row in the traditional way. A flexible attitude towards styling combined with the most luxurious cloth make every piece made by Henry Poole truly unique. Following the initial cloth selection and measurements, an individual paper pattern is created for the customer and the cloth is cut by hand before the garment is ready for the next step. It is then fitted onto the customer at different stages of construction, which ensures the best level of fit and comfort.
We pride ourselves on maintaining the high standards of cutting and tailoring skills by having an intense programme of apprentices in each department resulting in the long term future of bespoke tailoring for the future.
The continuing success of Henry Poole in meeting the requirements of the modest discerning customers indicates that we have mastered the art of accommodating worthwhile change, whilst preserving the best traditional values. As much as Pooles represents the clients, the clients symbolises Henry Poole.
Pooles is always aware of an every evolving market and has recently looked towards the Russia and China. In 2006, Pooles opened its first shop in Beijing giving the opportunity of bringing the true Savile Row experience further across the globe.
