A Blast from the Past
See a short film by the Pathe News depicting Savile Row and Henry Poole in 1946. The windows of the original premise are still boarded up after World War II. Our sales director. Mr J.A. Mead is showing cloth lengths to a customer and the then head cutter is cutting out a suit. Finally, the packer is seen folding a suit for despatch.
Sadly these wonderful premises were demolished by Westminster Council in 1961.
