Reviving Sir Winston Churchill
To celebrate the centenary of Sir Winston Churchill’s first order with Henry Poole, we have revived the chalk striped flannel of the suit we made circa 1936. The cloth has been woven by the same West of England Mill though now lighter in weight and superior in quality.
Under an agreement with the landlord, we recently transferred our workshops from the upper floors of 15 to the basement at number 16. We have secured a 15 year lease on the property and this has enabled a complete re-fit of our showroom.
We would welcome your visit to the new layout at number 15 and allow us to show you the Churchill chalk stripe flannel. This can also be viewed on our updated website in the convenience of your home/office together with our new fabric selections, samples of which can be forwarded to you.
The Churchill chalk stripe flannel is currently featured on the front page of Savile Row Style.
